Icicles, suspended from rocks and a tree root (or fallen branch), captured with a Canon 5D Mark II.
This was the view from behind a curtain of icicles glistening in the morning sun. To capture this perspective I climbed under a large outcropping near Murray Reynolds Falls in Ricketts Glen State Park. The park is located near Red Rock, PA.
I spent the day hiking Falls Trail, Glen Leigh and a small portion of Ganoga Glen with my friend and fellow Red Bubbler Gene Walls
The falls and trails were covered with snow and some ice and are considered dangerous in winter. Winter hiking is only permitted with proper equipment (Crampons, ice axe, climbing rope) and should not be attempted alone.
