Photo of Harrison Wrights Falls in winter captured with a Canon 5D Mark II.

Harrison Wrights is one of the 22 named waterfalls at Ricketts Glen State Park located near Red Rock, PA. This beautiful waterfall is 27 feet tall and is located just below Waters Meet. Unfortunately it is often overlooked by most people hiking the loop trail.

I spent the day hiking Falls Trail, Glen Leigh and a small portion of Ganoga Glen with my friend and fellow Red Bubbler Gene Walls

The falls and trails were covered with snow and some ice and are considered dangerous in winter. Winter hiking is only permitted with proper equipment (Crampons, ice axe, climbing rope) and should not be attempted alone.

(Canon 5D, ISO 100, F22, 17 mm – 1/15 sec, 1/6 sec, 1/4 sec. and 1/2 sec combined with layers in Photoshop CS6)

Great use of that ultra-wide glass, Mark! This is a fantastic overall view of the entire landscape surround this unique waterfall!

  • Thanks for letting me use your wide angle lens to capture it.
