Historic memorial featuring an eight foot bronze statue of a fisherman standing at the wheel of a ship. The memorial commemorates the thousands of fishermen who lost their lives at sea. The statue was designed by English sculptor Leonard Craske and was cast in 1925.
The memorial is located in Gloucester, Massachusetts and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1996. NRHP Reference #: 96000473
