The Brooklyn Bridge on a warm afternoon in late summer. The Brooklyn Bridge was the longest suspension bridge in the world from it’s completion in 1883 until 1903. It crosses the East River between the boroughs of Manhattan (seen here) and Brooklyn. This was my first view of that landmark bridge. Seen from the perspective of a boat on the water.
