The Trevi fountain, an expected stop for any tourist in the eternal city of Rome. I’ve read many different variations on the numbers of coins and what they mean, but the one thing in common is that a coin in the fountain assures your return to this ancient city.
Customs aside, the fountain is truly amazing in its size relative to the tiny piazza that it’s jammed into. Even in the midst of winter, it was crowded with people. I would love to go back here sometime with one of my wider angle lenses added to the tool kit since my last trip to Italy.
Fear not, I tossed in my coins.
