This early 1900’s train depot in Augusta, Georgia, is a design typical of the time but a fairly large one. It reminds us of a time when American goods moved on the rails rather than the roads. This freight depot served the old Southern Railway, which disappeared amongst a series of mergers in the 1960’s and 1970’s.
