Iconic St. Paul's
Today’s St Paul’s Cathedral was built anew in the wake of the Great Fire of 1666. Designed and built by Sir Christopher Wren, it was completed in 1708. While the buildings around it have come and gone (much during the Blitz), St. Paul’s has stood long on the skyline of the old city.
This photo was taken with very low DOF and a very soft focus to try to recall that feeling of the old dome rising above the smoke of WWII.
