love it striked out on the gallery ,classic and yet very creative

one of the better spot color compositions i’ve seen in a while. fact is it would still be strong as all b/w, but the red really sings out. excellent composition.

ps. all my in-laws live in Macon, GA.

Mark, being almost a Londoner (born 20 miles from the city centre) and most definitely English, I have always liked this image very much. Your processing is spot-on too. I also worked for BT for many years which must also have some influence I think ;-)

I’m a sucker for these British phone booths and this photo proffers it in a special way. I like the perspective as we look down the path and the red booth as it stands out from the high contrast background. What fun! I know we have a British phone booth somewhere in Chicago. I’ll want to find it but, it will be impossible for me to match this image. Well done!

Fabulous image…I love your treatment of this. I usually find selective colouring a little tacky when it’s at full saturation, but in this case it works perfectly. Beautifully done!

A garden near us has an old red telephone box in it. You can just see the top over the fence. Bring back the red boxes! Cool pic :)
