Creamsicle, Grayson and Melvin by

Three of the sweetest 2 month old kittens you’ll ever come across at a city shelter. Yes, they all found homes! Click once on image to enlarge.

Something catches my eye and I photograph it, always with the intention of reworking it into something I can call my own. My thinking: It’s not what you look at that matters but what it is you see and how you see it. That’s what matters. That’s how the artist shines through.

Cute picture, I like the post work you have done giving them almost a comical appeal

  • Thanks Shelley. They really had that almost comical appeal all on their own. I’m not too sure that I helped that along any but maybe you’re right, maybe I did. :7})

Mark, I love your work. I would love to be able to do images like this. Is there a secret? A filter you use? Plus practice of course…lol
    You do absolutely fantastic work.
Your models of course are just as fantastic. THey are absolutely precious!!

  • Hi Cheri. You’re a lovely person and you’re so very generous with your comments! I can’t thank you enough. There’s no special filters or gizmos just plain big effort as in trial & error to find what works best as you’re doing it over and over again! The results I’m after are mostly achieved from within Photoshop although it’s important to get things right when shooting. You’ve got to figure out what you want to achieve and then figure out how to do it. That’s my protocol.

Lovely shot of 3 cuties, like when they are around this age, because everything is out of proportion, just as you have captured them here with the head that is bigger than their body, know what I mean I hope :oD

    Great shot.

  • Yes, I do know what you mean. They kind of look like cartoons at this age. So adorable! Thanks for your delightful observation. I appreciate it.

Thanks for the info Mark…I appreciate it loads. And I do know what you mean by Trial and Error…unfortunately I get error more than anything…lol Keep up the great work though…You do awesome. I love how they always look, for lack of a better experesion, “dirty”…makes the image so awesome. Guess I’ll have to keep trying cause I wouldn’t have the first idea how to make them look like this…lol I’ll try though…Hugz
