This is or was me at the time I shot this. I’m different now, same as you. I think of myself as an enigma, real but also unreal. I will confound you if I can. This piece is one of a series I’ve been working on for quite awhile which I’ve entitled, “Plato’s Allegory.” It’s my take on Plato’s, “Allegory of the Cave” a work he wrote, how long ago? In it he questions and demonstrates the grand illusion of reality wherein only the shadows can be seen of a family of people that are living in a cave with a small opening at its top for light to come thru. The figures themselves cannot be seen. Therefore these shadows are believed to be what is real and true. Click once on image to enlarge.
