BTW, I love this because it is so similar to some shots I got in Geneva at the lake in summer. In-fact I’m still trying to decide whether to go with these shots (including my image ‘Geneva Lake Divers’) as the theme for an up-coming exhibition. Love the colouration you’ve achieved here. Makes me realise that what I saw as interesting subject, someone else see’s too!

Another viewer earlier on said the same thing about it’s looking like an ad. I guess it really does but not intentially. I’ve been a pro shooter for years specializing in interiors and architecture and product for advertising so it’s gotta creep into my artwork in some way I suppose. Anyhow, thanks for your astute comment. I really do appreciate it!

You know, you’re wearing a camera around your neck and you’re looking for something to take a shot of. You see it and bang, you’re onto something else. You don’t ever really think about it again, well at least I usually don’t. Sometimes maybe it’s just an influence at work for a split second, maybe just the graphics of the scene catches your eye or a couple of cuties forces you to respond automatically as probably was the case here! A couple of cuties! Hehe, that’s all it was! Sorry for rambling on! :<} Thanks for the super compliment. Nice of you to say that.

Haha! Well I was a dirty young man and now I’m a dirty older man. Nothing changes, huh? Yeah, they were young so I took it on the sly and as quickly as I could before their parents came along and had me arrested! But in my own defense, I’m innocent of any wrong doing officer. I’d agree with the first post, it’s a very honest capture of lifestyle, the beach, the human body, fashion… I’ve seen other shots very similar to this on beach postcards in Sydney. Great colours and composition.
