Definitely one of the best places on earth! I spent time in Venice around two summer full moon cycles in order to record this ravishing city at night. Came out with 20 shots, most off the beaten path, unknown to all but the locals. Sheer magic! So happy you like this Paul. Thank you my friend!

I haven’t seen this view before either Mel. I did another view with my back to the Grand Canal. It’s a view you may have seen before although I wasn’t sure I had ever seen it before myself. Maybe I should post it too. Yeah, why not? Haha. Mel, you’ve got to find a way to see Venice. It’s like no other place in the world. It’s my favorite city on earth! A big hug for your beautiful words! Venice comes alive at night. Everywhere I went thruout the night, right up until 4 or 5 am was lit to some degree as though by candle light. How can you beat that?
