wow – you know i love this mark… great use of space and texture… creating art out of life’s simplicities – beautiful work for me!
Mark Ross replied
Thanks Paul. Come to think of it mate, isn’t that what you also do, creating art out of life’s simplicities?
Adrian Donoghue
Another beauty in this beach series Mark, love the poses and placement of the figures. The heads down poses seem to create an eerie mood.
Mark Ross replied
Yeah, the heads down thing is kinda eerie, I agree with you but that’s what you see a lot on the beach. Everybody’s looking for something precious and it’s down there somewhere. Thanks as always Adrian.

Agree with Paul and Adrian…........... love your use of space and the subjects are exquisitely interesting…........ and that effect …...............do you get that in photoshop or some other application…..........?? superb…........
Mark Ross replied
Hi Linda. Thanks for the comp my love! I only work with Photoshop so whatever you’re seeing in this comes from there. There are so many available tools to work with and I just jump from one to another and use’em in all different kinds of ways. I hardly use PS tools the way you’re supposed to but that’s because I’m a outlaw rebel. LOL!

Very nice! I love the colors and the leading line of the shore. Great processing too.—Rene

Thanks so much Rene. This was a revisited old film shot
I had never worked up successfully before and I wanted to give it another go.

Quietly ‘shelling’ on a remote beach on a fine day is one of the nicest ways of passing time, and this reminds me of happy days spent doing just that!
Mark Ross replied
Absolutely, me too! You could get so lost in limboland and lose sight of time itself without any concern. Best therapy I know.
terezadelpilar
great work of art:)
Mark Ross replied
Oh thank you Tereza! You’re so kind.
