Although it’s a little time ago now, just wanted to add entry to thank RedBubble for the feature, on the home page of RedBubble, of one on my photos from the Sydney dust storm.

Waking up at 6.00am to this experience was the weirdest things!

Had a good time in the Adelaide Hills learning some new front end web development skills (JQuery and refreshing Javascript skills), doing a little photography here and there not as much as I would have like to and catching up with family and friends.

Tomorrow heading back to Sydney in the car then Friday heading down to the Royal National Park for the weekend and hoping to get some more phot…

I heading over to the Adelaide Hills this week to catch up with family and friends, to do some study/refresh my javascript, jquery and AJAX skills and of course to do some photography.

I always enjoy being in the Adelaide Hills and I’m looking forward to heading over there this week!

I spent last weekend or most of it in the Blue Mountains and thinking it would be a great photo opportunity so took all the camera gear. As it turned out, we were there for a friends birthday celebration, and it was almost go go go from the moment we arrived! Alas, I didn’t get much of a chance to get some shots of the Mountains nor the surrounding bush or nature. :(

I recently bought a Tamron SP AF28-300 lens and I’m so very pleased with it. It has excellent resolution and the anti-vibration technology works great… only found one fault so far and it tends to lock-up here and there… I think this is due to a communication breakdown or overload in the camera/lens circuitry. I switch it off or remove the lens, put it back on and it’s okay.

Had a great day yesterday, Sunday. In the afternoon went with a group of friends and played Lawn Bowls at Waverly Bowling Club…. it was lots of fun. Wished I had taken my camera, there were lots a good photo opportunities.
