Great looking composition, and exceptional contrast and grays. Thank goodness you are showing water as water, and not as a softly smeared cloud. Is this shot on film?

  • Hi Fran, thank you. Yeah, I’ve always disliked water blurred by longer exposures too. This was shot with my partner’s little Minolta compact. Several years old, small files but the results always surprise me. Levels adjusted, desaturated around 92%, cropped and cleaned up a little in Photoshop.

Excellent job in the digital dark room, then, Mark. Kudos.
I’d love for you to join the solo-exhibition group. Drop me a line if you do. :)

  • My skills are really pretty limited, but thanks, that’s encouraging! :) Just joined the Solo Exhibition group- Great mix, esp. like Matteno Pontonutti’s and Tony Bezsylko’s work. Thanks again!
