The Great Central Road takes you from Uluru in the Northern Territory across to Leonora and Kalgoorlie in the Western Australian Goldfields. It is the shortest route from Perth to Central Australia with a distance of around 1250 kilometers.
I was amazed to see so many wrecks along the whole way each with its own story to tell.
Just past Kaltukatjara (Docker River) i came across this particular one that caught my attention. I ‘am quite sure that this is a Valiant Charger.
I remember as a young boy my parents owned a servo and a Charger was brought in to get some work done on it, only to have the owner never to return. For what ever reason i don’t know.
But what i do know it was a beast. I remember sitting in the front seat hardly able to see over the dash with my father driving and the world going past fast.
