While wandering around a multi storey car park in
Docklands, Melbourne, looking for shots, I looked
over the edge to see this site. I only had until the lights
turned green to capture this amazing colour quirk.
Nothing added and no colours changed,
seven red cars caught in time….
automobiles, cars, cityscape, highway, in_the_moment, melbourne, open, red, red_cars, road_urban
I look for design in everyday situations, Industrial grunge, typography, quirky landscapes, colour, form and anything with a design aesthetic that catches my eye. I completed a Diploma of Graphic Design and have continually worked in this field. I prefer to compose and design in-camera – my graphic design training taking over:) I return to fertile ground once in a while trying to improve previous pictures.

How lucky was that!!
Such great work mark!
great!
Great capture! You’re very observant! Do you always have your camera on you? :)
I always carry the camera and a tripod in the car and
try to have it on me most of the time when i am out.
Not always possible though as we all know.
In this situation it was just a specific saturday meander
looking for interesting subject matter.
I don’t like seeing a great photo opportunity and be in
the situation of not having a camera handy.
It is a bad feeling.
Hahaha! Excellent capture, lucky too.
This is incredible Mark, what a total coincidence…makes for a fantastic shot…
Bizarre scene. Ready made for RED Bubble i think. Good, quick work Mark.
really excellent!!! i live above a major busy street near acropolis in athens, (most of the time) and often go outside on the balcony to watch the happenings in the streets below me…
if i had a dollar for every time i went out there without a camera, and saw a string of bright yellow taxis all in a row, (my record so far is 13 in a row!!) and not a single car interrupting them, against the gray dirtiness of the street, id be RICH!!!!
with camera in hand….think i ever see this phenomenon???? ;)
great find, even better catch!!!
Ha, great stuff! Love the framing. Nice capture mate, what it’s all about…
