In the same vain as the story about the Great Wall of China being built to keep the rabbits out:) Melbourne’s Great Flyscreen Wall is being built to keep the fly’s out. Seen here during construction in Ringwood, it should be completed in time for next Summer:)

Bruce, it is the largest screen i have ever seen that will stop golf balls straying onto the new M3. I estimate they are around 40 metres high!

I was just about to ask if this was for real…about the fly’s that is! ..golf balls certainly make more sense. The things man creates in pursuit of golf! ...absolutely love this image, great blue sky, and such perfect design direction. Nice work Mark.
