The Fastest Colour
While wandering around a multi storey car park in
Docklands, Melbourne, looking for shots, I looked
over the edge to see this site. I only had until the lights
turned green to capture this amazing colour quirk.
Nothing added and no colours changed,
seven red cars caught in time….
The Fastest Colour belongs to the following groups:

great!
FireRabbit, about 1 year ago
Great capture! You’re very observant! Do you always have your camera on you? :)
Mark Higgins, about 1 year ago
I always carry the camera and a tripod in the car and
try to have it on me most of the time when i am out.
Not always possible though as we all know.
In this situation it was just a specific saturday meander
looking for interesting subject matter.
I don’t like seeing a great photo opportunity and be in
the situation of not having a camera handy.
It is a bad feeling.
Jason Smith, about 1 year ago
Hahaha! Excellent capture, lucky too.
Jessica Tremp, about 1 year ago
This is incredible Mark, what a total coincidence…makes for a fantastic shot…
ian walton, about 1 year ago
Bizarre scene. Ready made for RED Bubble i think. Good, quick work Mark.
EMIJIZ, about 1 year ago
really excellent!!! i live above a major busy street near acropolis in athens, (most of the time) and often go outside on the balcony to watch the happenings in the streets below me…
if i had a dollar for every time i went out there without a camera, and saw a string of bright yellow taxis all in a row, (my record so far is 13 in a row!!) and not a single car interrupting them, against the gray dirtiness of the street, id be RICH!!!!
with camera in hand….think i ever see this phenomenon???? ;)
great find, even better catch!!!
Lost Lost, about 1 year ago
Ha, great stuff! Love the framing. Nice capture mate, what it’s all about…
Janice Elanor ..., about 1 year ago
great catch! the framing is very dynamic.
I have never been in a city meander… might have to give it a go sometime :-)
Accused, about 1 year ago
what an oppurtunity.!!! how long did you have to wait?
Mark Higgins, about 1 year ago
Accused, I didn’t wait, i just looked over the side of the
car park wall onto the street and they were
all waiting at the lights. 1 minute later and the
light changed to green and they were gone.
Steph Tout, 11 months ago
Ha, wow! That’s awesome…what luck that the traffic lights matched the cars at this perfect moment.
Douzy, 11 months ago
Nobody mentioned the white arrows, I think they add to the dynamism of the picture, which could have a been a bit static otherwise. You should have bought a loto ticket on that day!! :)
