Phoenix Rising becomes avatar for the Phoenix Appeal
I have had my images featured before in a number of groups and it is always a pleasant surprise.
To find that my image Phoenix Rising has been chosen as the avatar for the Phoenix Appeal Group was equally a pleasant surprise.
More so than other times though, and based on the gravity of the situation that gave rise to the Phoenix Appeal Group, it is both a humbling and honourable experience.
I thank Anne Van Alkemade for this great honour and even more so for her tireless work in putting the group together so quickly.
Most importantly though, please remember that all profits from Phoenix Appeal go to the Victorian Bushfires Appeal.

Many thanks….glad you like the image….I’m likely to be heading down to the fires with my brigade from NSW very soon, so the whole idea of the Phoenix Appeal is especially important to me.
