Sheep Country - Victorian Alps by

Photographed near Yea (15km towards Mt Buller), this picturesque location caught my eye but proved quite the challenge to photograph. With grass waist deep and snake season well and truly upon us, I had to tread very carefully. I think it was worth the effort. Do you??

Nikon D700 with 24-70mm 2.8G lense

My interest in photography began back in high-school when I used my mother’s Olympus OM-1 to shoot sports events. I learnt to understand film, light meters and other technical issues. I bought my first SLR, a Nikon F70, when I finished uni and became more focussed on shooting portraiture, landscape and photojournalism. Since then I have not looked back opening my own business in 2009 specialising in portrait photography.

Definitely worth the effort – stunning scenery, and I could sit and stare at it all day. I am a South Aussie who longs to live in Victoria, and all the other SA’s hate me for it hahahaha! Love this part of the country, and you’ve captured it beautifully!

  • Thanks Kathy. I am a Victorian that may soon be moving to SA! Will know in a week or so!
