Beer - the relaxation potion of a wedding day by

Wedding organisation is becoming more and more rebellious and this wedding was no exception. Gone is the heavy black suit to be replaced with untucked shirts and thin ties. And gone is the church to be replaced with the backyard. Gone is the reception centre to be replaced with a marquee and drinking at the ceremony (and even before). I guess we must be in the 21st century when the wedding certificate signing is the moment to just have a great party with all your friends.
Fortunately, the photographer is still seen as an important part of all this!!

Shot with Nikon D700, 50mm 1.4g lense and diffused remote fired SB600 Flash.

My interest in photography began back in high-school when I used my mother’s Olympus OM-1 to shoot sports events. I learnt to understand film, light meters and other technical issues. I bought my first SLR, a Nikon F70, when I finished uni and became more focussed on shooting portraiture, landscape and photojournalism. Since then I have not looked back opening my own business in 2009 specialising in portrait photography.
