My interest in photography began back in high-school when I used my mother’s Olympus OM-1 to shoot sports events. I learnt to understand film, light meters and other technical issues. I bought my first SLR, a Nikon F70, when I finished uni and became more focussed on shooting portraiture, landscape and photojournalism. Since then I have not looked back opening my own business in 2009 specialising in portrait photography.

  • I was a trumpet player on a cruiseship for 6 months hence the number of photographs of the Caribbean and also the scuba diving shots. Although the turtle was in Aus on the Great Barrier Reef. Cats was just an amateur theatre production in Geelong.

cool job, what an awesome way to see places, and so talented, with the trumpet and the camera…i love the amateur theatre productions as well, i have seen a few a long time ago..:)) k

  • Its funny Kristina. Primarily I am a musician and studies accordingly and yet I am far more fussy about my photography then my music. I started music when I was 6 so I guess it is just what I do and photography is what I do purely for pleasure so maybe I feel more satisfaction doing that.

thanks for the wishes my friend, rb is an addictive place in itself. lol.
i believe that my shots are improving and i am thinking more about what i want to shoot, instead of just snapping away, but in saying that some of my snapping away shots i have liked..lol..there are many very inspirational people/artists out there, and i think we can all learn from one another..:)) k
