Graham heating up a chicken curry which along with a can of ‘Old Speckled Hen’ went down very nicely during a well earned rest on the way to Pen-y-Pass after achieving the summit of Snowdon.

CHA!!!!! No better break than chicken curry and a great beer!!! Mmmmmmmm lol. Although I don’t know what a curry is. It sounds very good lol. Well done too you as well Graham!;o)
Thanks very much Stephfine
A curry is a generic name for spicy dish usually originating from the Asia-Pacific region. They range from dishes like a Korma or masala, which is very lightly spiced, to a Vindaloo or Phaal which are extremely highly spiced and ‘hot’ curries.
This was a chicken dopiaza, which has a lot of onions in it and is a medium curry.
They are now a major part of British cuisine and a pint and a ruby (cockney rhyming slang : Ruby Murray = Curry) is a lot of people idea of a good night out lol
It certainly tasted good after the hard days walking :o)

ah the old speckled hen … bliss
Old Speckled Hen is a beautiful pint. It went down very nicely lol
This is a great picture Mark, it makes you want to rush out to the nearest takeaway. John.
For a ‘ready meal’ it was very nice. I prefer a madras or vindaloo but I enjoyed the dopiaza greatly.
The wall you can see is an old mine building, now little more than a shell.
Sitting next to the waterfalls between the lakes, surrounded by mountains & having a drink and a meal was a great way to spend forty minutes of my life.
Yum O’! Love that chicken curry! Great candid shot Mark!!
It was a great place to rest after a hard morning. The way was easy and downhill from here.
this is brilliant! what a moment !:)
it looks like you got the flat recliner rock… kick back and rest, nice. Good of you to take a shot of the cook. I like it.
