Salt Works
A Cheshire salt works. Brine from dissolved rock salt was pumped to the surface from bore holes, the solution boiled to evaporate the water and crystalise the salt.

Thanks Mark. Yes – I took a lot of shots at this location – then the sun came out through a gap in the cloud – I love the dramatic, almost spotlight, sun you get at that sort of moment
