“Landscape photography has always been my greatest passion. From my earliest beginnings in photography, the landscape has been my creative focus. I guess this is a natural extension of my love of the environment and my fascination with this truly amazing part of the world in which I live.
My approach to landscape photography is very straightforward. Simple yet strong designs, with an emphasis on form, balance and symmetry are the foundations of my work. The importance of colour is hopefully self-evident and with landscape I only ever work in colour. Some may see this as limiting, but is an essential element for me and as important as both composition and the nature of the light.”
