In memory of Lillian G. K. Bull
Today, July 29th, 2011, is special: the 100th anniversary of my mother’s birthday. She is celebrating it in heaven, though I know she is right here beside me, too.
This picture was taken twenty-five years ago today. Lake Michigan was unusually calm, the weather was hot and humid, and Mom could hardly walk on the sand, but the beach is always wonderful, no matter how many difficulties you encounter on the way. It was our last road trip before the Parkinson’s disease really set in and kept her housebound. It did us both a world of good.
Happy Birthday, Mom. I love you, and miss you more than I can say.
