Grandma always had lace curtains hanging at the front windows. Whenever the white got a little dingy, or she got tired of them, she’d brew up a big kettle of coffee or tea and drop in all the curtains for a dye bath. It cost only pennies, and gave the room a fresh new look.

I took a fractal generated in Tierazon, made a kaleidoscope, seriously tweaked the colors and effects, and it ended up reminding me of Grandma’s tea-dyed curtains.
