What’s this? A pinecone in the middle of summer? Aren’t they for December, and Christmas, and snow? No, actually, they’re just ripe now, and ready to blow down from the trees, so I gathered this one with my camera. I’m hoping that just the sight of it will make me feel the July heat a bit less.

This would make a lovely Christmas card
Thank you; I quite agree. When we get a little closer to the season, I’ll take it out of all the groups and then resubmit it so it’s in everyone’s sight at the right time. :-) Glad you like it.
