What’s this? A pinecone in the middle of summer? Aren’t they for December, and Christmas, and snow? No, actually, they’re just ripe now, and ready to blow down from the trees, so I gathered this one with my camera. I’m hoping that just the sight of it will make me feel the July heat a bit less.
