I had some shopping to do (market, household stuff, supermarket…) and decided to take my camera for a change since the weather was so nice and I was not in a real hurry. And found I should do that more often!

Another view of the stairway to the bridgekeeper’s house: the first section of the stairs seen from behind (so the lower steps are farther away than the higher ones).
(A “bridgekeeper” does not so much “guard” as operate the bridge, making sure both shipping and road traffic (including pedestrians) can safely cross.)

Natural Black and White – there simply is no color in the image.

This is also part of what by now is a collection that I’m thinking of as heavy metal. (I am now officially collecting ‘heavy metal’.)
