My oil painting inspiration comes from the fascination with the unknown and what lies beyond our own imagination. Always in pursuit of the next painting and what it will reveal of the everlasting and inexhaustible surreal world, I create my work as an expression of how we live in it. These images are only a fraction of what lies beyond and with a lifelong dream I hope to reveal more of the great mysterious unknown. When I paint it totally consumes me and glimpses of images in my imagination appears for very short durations that many times fail to make it to the canvas. Sometimes it is very frustrating to piece it all together in a sensible way.
Other times I love to do portrait and sculpture photography.
