What a thrill to have this painting appear as the cover art for the Australian Poetry book published by UWA Publishing:

Stretched with a staple gun over 1cm thick board. Staple guns are goooooood.

My specialities are watercolour painting and printmaking. Further enquiries?

All works are hand painted or hand printed onto fine quality paper. Marion uses Arches 300gsm rough paper, Saunders Waterford 300gsm cold pressed paper for her watercolours and for each unique state print, the paper is either BFK Rives 280gsm cream paper or Hahnemulle rough 280gsm.

    hahaha I wondered that too an phthalo I used to order on line and my spell check used to kick up a stink!

    anyhooooo love the work I haven’t tried to stretch paper on a board I have known people to stretch on stretcher bars ..

    Marion, you know how i feel about gum leaves having painted a few works in my series called Beneath Blue Mountain Gums this is gorgeous…love the thalo…and the spelling you have utilised…LOL

    Just extraordinary. Such wonderful depth, and a lovely whimsy flight in the overlay. Very beautiful colors, and inviting, I can imagine walking into it and lifting branches back as I go.
