Khe Sanh
Monoprint.
This was created during the clean up stages of print making. At the end of 3 hours intense labouring at the press, i poured out some oil to begin cleaning and stood there for some time enjoying the patterns i was making in the inky oily ink. I was listening to Jimmy Barnes singing “The last plane out of Sydney’s almost gone, yeh yeh yeh. In seven flying hours i’ll be landing in Hong Kong…” Love that song and this monoprint was the result.
