Italian Photographer Mario Farinato began his career in New York working with Calvin French (Boss Model) and Doron Hanoch (GQ) as Fashion Designer.
In the early 2000’s he moved back to Europe, in France, trading his stability for adventure.
He began his career as a photographer.
Over the past 10 years he has shot spreads for many leading magazine and newspapers, such as Corriere della sera, La Repubblica, Le Matin, Le Figaro, GQ, The Guardian, The Mail Guardian, El Pays, Conde Nast, The Washington Post and The International Herald Tribune in a variety of settings.
He also works for many prestigious organizations in the world such as WWF, World Economic Forum, ITU and UN.
He won the prestigious award “Foto del Giorno” with the Corriere della sera (Italian Newspaper) with his environmental reportage in Andermatt (WWF).
Mario Farinato has a doctorate in art Music and Theatre from D.A.M.S Bologna Italy with a specialization in photography and multimedia.
