Chanticleer Gardens is located in Wayne Pennsylvania, just south of Philadelphia. The gardens and house are now public, and once were a pharmaceutical company founder’s personal residence. The hardy perennials, shrubs and tree plantings in the garden are creative and horticulturally distinctive material. In addition there are annuals and tropicals that are brought out each summer to the patio gardens.

This is part of the castle ruins garden.

Love your Chanticleer Gardens series! I also love the processing.

  • Aunt Dot – thanks so much – what a great comment as I’m still getting skilled at this. I find I don’t like the grunge look for gardens where so much detail seems unnatural. So what I have here is the starting point for the garden landscape work.
