My version of of the ‘frog prince’ story, called a bath of stars. This is page 26 of 50 pages. I would be plesed to hear from you on what you think of it as I may upload all of it, I am currently experimenting with mixed media to see whether to draw or paint over the top of the images too. This is my first short story and comic book.

Your welcome Marilyn …........ Good luck with it

It is good to see it up, I think there is really heaps to do to it which is ok, this is the first draft. I might even upload the shortstory as it is at the moment too. That is something that can be expanded too. I might upload a couple more pages to give a fuller view of how the comic looks. Thanks for your help.

So good to hear from you on this, especially as you do comic formats. This is the first attempt. I know the modern format can have this sort of style. Pity he isn’t a typical super hero othewise I could put it in your group.

I like your mixing of media, and think that this would make a very memorable book.
Your style would, I think, both stimulate imagination and encourage readers’/viewers’ own creativity.. a big plus!

  • Marilyn Baldey replied

Thank you very much for that excellent comment. One of the things I have enjoyed in the past has been to encourage others creativity, amazing that you picked up on that. I wrote the short story, then did the comic pages, then the images actually allowed me to write more of the story, so it is an interesting process. Thanks again, Marilyn
