Made for the Texture-challenge in the Fine Art Composites group.
I used three of the textures; the raindrops to lighten and give some texture to the sky, the two wall-photos were distorted in several layers to make up the rock, the plasterwall was also set as an overlay with high transparency over and around the angel for a grungier look to match the background, and another layer of the same texture was transformed to fit over the whole sky.
For the sky I also used 2 cloud-textures and a moon from CG-textures (free at cgtextures.com)the angel is composed of many separate layers of photos, and includes some digital painting, I made this angel last year and have used it previously in Reflections
the wings (from a dead bird found on the side of the road!), the floating object (a dead leaf actually) and the skull-like piece of drift-wood are all my photos
