I am doing my PhD in environmental chemistry/biology. When I can make the time I love to paint, it’s great mental relief and I think my partner would say it makes me a nicer person to live with too. My medium of choice is generally oil paints. I have just recently started playing with Photoshop as well, but I still prefer the tactile sensation of thick paints.
