Letter to my GuardianAngel

Last year my heart decided to take a rest…. but did not quite make heaven….on more than one occasion I was brought back to face the music of life. To support my beliefs..I heard all around me when I should have heard silence..or should I have…..?

As my lips turned ocean blue, I was entranced by you
Speech would not travel via voice box.
I heard the siren, imagining the blue light, wishing I had put on my best nightie tonight.
Where are you?

Staring in to a space of choice, trying hard but nothing came of voice.
Eyelids open, seeing but not registering the home I belong.
Where are you?

The pain upon my chest, as the paramedic called arrest!
No breath to fight! Is this my night?
Where are you?

Lifted like a damsel in distress, fighting for life against the abyss
Searching for breath that failed to transpire. “She’s gone!” “You liar”
Where are you?

Panic buttons all around, I heard my best friend praying
The oxygen upon my mouth, to hear the words she’s dying.
Where are you?

Then I saw you leaning over me, adorned with radiant light.
You blew breath into my lifeless body, I was reborn again that night.
I found you!

My Guardian angel friend for life, you have saved me from so much strife.
I heard all that was being said, although the paramedic said I was dead.
You saved me!

It was not my time, like you said before. I cant keep knocking on heavens door.
Work to be done, helping others. I’m just different, from my sisters and brothers.
You needed me?

Thank you for this special chance, this must be eight of a nine life dance.
I thank you from the bottom of my beating heart.
My angels attached, were never apart…........
I know you…..

    I have felt an angel warm me with a hug around my upper arms as if they were right behind me.
    I have heard my name whispered loudly and no-one is around.
    I read your words with dancing eyes, for I too have almost gone many times and am still here.
    This was beautiful to read. xo

    Marie, I will never forget the above moment in time, although I beleive and trust in the angels and knew your work on this earth was not yet done. I held the fear that the angels may have decided to take you that night, you fought between staying in this world and moving onto the the next. So glad that you are still in my life and a very special friend. Go on girl show the world why you was placed on this earth and what knowledge and wisdom you have to share with them. love as alwaysxx
