Hi!

My name is Maria Wiley. I’m a mixed media artist from Central Queensland, Australia

I work predominantly in acrylics & some mixed media. I LOVE rich, vibrant colours & textures.

My work is continuously evolving, hopefully in an interesting way . . . In 2006 when I first started, I was doing mainly pastels & most of my work was representational.

I’m now exploring the intuitive abstract. Abstracts have captured my imagination like no other style … the unraveling of each stage, each layer is like an unknown journey, revealing itself only at the end …
