She turned up at my husbands auto shop in 2001. Someone just dumped her there. I actually thought she was grey! The vet said then she was probally 2 years old. So I guess she may be 9 or so. She showed up after my mom had died. I always thought that was a sign of sorts. Because she showed up at the shop, I was going to name her Axle. Glad my husband talked me into Ice Baby. :)

Nice story. I have a simialer one about Blacktop. One day my husband was in our back yard working on the car. When all of a sudden a little black kitten came running acrossed the yard. He crawled up inside the motor and ended up on my husbands shoulder as if he was telling him how to fix the car in his ear. I took him of my husband’s shoulder and shooed him away. Then a few minutes later he was back and did the same thing. We allready had a lady cat at the time and were afraid of how she would reacted to him. Thankfully she treated him like he was her own son.
