it is in a place like this; hiking and climbing.
I’d looked past the Pink Floyd and by the time I’d finished
reading it, realized that it sounded like their song.
They’re truly a classic
_{and so are you, Mar.
Keep sending back your experiences for those of us who can’t
actually be there with you.
It’s been great to share in part of your life
and in the fabulous photographs that you’ve sent back
for me to project myself into.
To feel the rocks under your heavy boots.
Smell the evergreens.
See the vistas that run a hundred miles at a time.
The cold clear water} as clean and potable as any
has ever been.

You always seem to be taking a catnap in your Sierra photo shoots. :) I can picture you as a blur, moving up the trail when the camera is packed. Beautiful setting!
