Horsetail
I took this photo of a Horsetail just outside of my house.
I love horsetail. I’m always happy to see it. I think it looks like (and probably is) an ancient plant and must be so to have lasted through the ages!
It’s latin name is Equisetum arvense and some people also know it as Marestail. It is rich in Silicic acid and is known as a good wound healer.
