Fabulous work Maria! I love the way you use colour. Pastel is a wonderful, and very versatile, medium

  • thankyou Lynda, i have to confess though that in these miniatures I am limited to the collection of pastel pencils ive got topped up with a few of my hard pastels.. I find you always discover new ways of using colour with a limited palette though!

Now that’s a lovely nude that doesn’t need any safe filters on it to my mind..a non offensive beautiful study and painting..well done!

  • HI Catherine, yes I hope I dont need to use those, I m inspired by the beauty and aesthetics of the human body.

Fantastic work Maria – I love too that your life studies are of ‘real women’ that we can all relate to!!! :)

  • thanks karen, thanks for that great comment, and yes I feel this is important when drawing women to draw who they are.
