Maria I love the way you have captured her nervousness and anticipation in this painting! I find the number of your circus paintings really interesting, are you connected to one that you paint it with such authority?
thanks constance, yes this was my daughters first performance, i think she was around 8 at the time, she was so nervous. I really enjoyed creating this series and watching all the beautiful child performers..
