Esperanza

I only now just learned of the sad passing of one of our most beloved hosts..Esperanza.

She was so very gifted as an artist, always vibrantly unique and she had quite the following. She also hosted many groups and always took the time to leave encouraging comments and favs.

Polly Brown posted a beautiful tribute to her:

May she rest in peace. I was a great admirer of not only her work but her spirit.
She will be sorely missed here.

I have experienced an amazing year looking at some of the finest and innovative photography, watercolours, oils, sketches, textured images, patterns and insightful writings that you have graced these pages with. I am in awe of your brilliant techniques and expressions.

I have read encouraging comments on each other’s pages, beautiful tributes to those who have been taken too soon and wonderful stories and pieces of history I would otherwise never know.

I want to wish you all a Very Happy and Healthy New Year and I look forward to 2013 and finding out what your new journey’s will be? I know it be wonderful and wonderous!

This picture garnered 1,371 votes from strangers which allowed Brody to come in first.
