Margaret Stockdale

I live on the Mid North Coast in NSW, Australia. I am an artist
working mainly with oil paints, graphite pencil, and photography. I have portrayed different subjects over the past 14 years, but am passionate about animal portraiture, and that is now the main focus of my artworks. My husband and I have a background in Rodeo. We now live on a beautiful farm where I can practise my art undisturbed, and surrounded by Gods’ wonderful creations.
I have won many (over 40) art prizes over the years, and have had one solo exhibition. I have very poor health which has placed many limitations on my life, but my art has been such wonderful therapy, and helps me to focus on something I can do, instead of all the things I cannot do. It’s a wonderful gift.
I hope you can all enjoy my images and feel uplifted by them. That is what I hope to achieve with my art.
