Probably built by J Watt for pastoralist William Fletcher in 1900. Two storey late Victorian mansion built in Grand style enhanced by nearby river and exotic trees. Built of red face brick; dominated by central three storey square tower over entrance. Portico flanked by two storey cast- iron verandah with fine valance and balustrading iron work and colebrookdale spiral iron stair on verandah. Imported fine cedar in natural finish throughout interior with fine imported timber stair lit by stained glass windows.
