This bridge was built in 1866 to cross the Murrumbidgee River and is the longest timber viaduct in Australia at 819.4 metres and including the timber approaches reaches 921 metres. The town in the distance is Gundagai
I have fond memories of driving over it and listening apprehensively to the rattling of the timbers.
The bridge is National Trust classified.
