The Lavatree – Pissina Flushturdum – is at the entrance to “Bleak’s Turdle Farm” – aka Dorrigo Sewerage treatment works.

I first saw the Lavatree about 2004 and, as we were travelling near to Dorrigo New South Wales, Australia, we decided to see if it was still there. As you can see, if you compare the first – Lavatree Dorrigo – and now the second photos, the lavatree has flourished.

I am a keen amateur photographer (progressing from a Brownie Box to digital) who loves to combine travel and photography. I have travelled extensively in Australia and New Zealand with other trips to parts of UK & Europe, USA, Africa, Scandinavia and Canada. My photography reflects my interest in culture, scenery and wildlife relating to these travels.
